Cathy was born in the Kansas City area, attended Shawnee Mission West High School and currently lives in Leawood. She is married to Russ Boomer and has 4 children ranging in age from 13 to 26. She is also the proud mother of an Air Force officer. She is a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and has volunteered with Scouting, Sports and Church activites with her children. Cathy Boomer has a very calming influence and sense of peacefulness about her, even in the most emotional situations. She handled all the details of my mother's passing and funeral with professional dignity.
